LINKIT completes the IP Communications for the KCDC Borefields Upgrade Project.

LINKIT contracted to Downer for the supply and delivery of IP communications between the new Borefields using Fibre Optic cable and 5Ghz radios to connect the sites.

The network required the design and delivery of:

- Fibre optic cables and network switches at three new pumping sites

- Site selection and build out of a new solar powered radio repeater in the Kapiti hills.

- Provisioning of a 10mtr radio mast to connect the PekaPeka pumping station into the network.

- IP Network connectivity from each site back into the KCDC telemetry system.

All key objectives were met and the project was completed on time and within budget.
